Bbq Beer Pulled Chicken
- 4.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 1/2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 cup of your favorite beer
- Preparation
- Place the chicken in your crockpot. Add all the rest of the ingredients on top of the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours, or on high for 4 - 6 hours. If the sauce gets too thick, add more beer to thin the sauce out.
- Once the chicken is done cooking, remove it from the sauce and shred it using two forks. Return the chicken to the sauce and toss to mix. Keep warm.
- Great served on buns!
