Cuban Grilled Steaks
- 1 Steak per person (I like T-Bones or Porterhouse)
- Juice of 1 large lime per steak
- 2 (minced) garlic cloves per steak
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Pepper per steak
- 1 can of pickled jalapeno peppers (you will only use the juice)
- 1 (sliced) yellow onion per steak
- melted butter (optional)
- Place steaks in a large ziplock plastic bag. (Use more than one bag if necessary.) Open the can of jalapeno peppers and use anywhere from 1 tablespoon per steak, to the entire can of juice (I do) and add to the steaks in the bag(s). Add the lime juice, garlic, lemon pepper, and sliced onions. Seal and refrigerate at least one hour (I marinate overnight for incredibly tender and flavorful steaks!). Grill the next day to desired doneness and slather some melted butter atop and ENJOY!
