Grilled Flank Steak Marinade
- 1 flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons garlic vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons granulated onion
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 3 green onion, tops and bottoms
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- Trim fat from steak. Make criss-cross cuts against the grain on each side of the steak making sure not to cut completely through the meat, and place into a large Zip-Lock bag. Place remaining ingredients into a blender and blend for about 3-4 minutes or until a smooth consistency is reached. Pour marinade into bag with the steak. Refrigerate over night. When ready to grill the steak, remove the bag of meat and marinade from the refrigerator, and let sit on a counter, at room temperature, for about 20 minutes. Grill steaks on a grill, basting often until desired doneness.
