- 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 3 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED
- 1 28 OZ CRUSHED TOMATOES WITH ADDED PUREE
- 1/2 CUP WHIPPING CREAM
- 1 LB FARFALLE PASTA (BOW TIES)
- 1/2 CUP ,PACKED, CHOPPED BASIL
- GRATED ROMANO CHEESE
- HEAT OIL,MED HIGH HEAT. SAUTE SAUAGE,RED PEPPER UNTIL NO LONGER PINK,ABOUT 5 MINADD ONION AND GARLIC; SAUTE 5 MIN. ADD TOMATOES AND CREAM. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW; SIMMER UNTIL THICK,ABOUT 3 MIN. SEASON WITH S/P.
- MEANWHILE COOK PASTA. RESERVE 1 CUP PASTA WATER.ADD SAUAGE MIXTURE TO PASTA;TOSS OVER MED-HIGH HEAT ADDING RESERVED WATER IF NEEDED. SPRINKLE WITH BASIL. SERVE WITH CHEESE.
