Texas Size Chili
- 1.5 lbs of chili meat or you can substitute 1 lb of turkey meat
- 1 whole sweet onion
- 5 things of garlic
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can of Rotel (original)
- 1 can of Ranch Style beans with jalapeno
- 1 can of black beans
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning
- 1 tablespoon on chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of tony sacheries
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1-1/2 cup of water or chicken broth
- 4 little squares of Hershey Chocolate
- slice the onion to your likings then saute them in a skillet. Once done put in a large cooking pot. Next, brown the chili or turkey meat and drain the grease out. Pour this into the cooking pot as well. Grab your 5 things of garlic and make sure they are minced and put into the big cooking pot. All the ingredients next, bust open the cans or the packages and pour them into the pot as well. Mix in your seasoning packets of taco, ranch, chili powder, tony sacheries, and salt and pepper to taste. Depending on your taste for chili and the thickness or soupyness off your chili is up to you. If you like it a little soupy and not chunky, then either add 1-1/2 cups of water or you can substitute chicken broth. Your call. My little secret at the end of this big melting pot of tasty goodness is 4 little squares of Hershey chocolate. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 1 hour. Cook up some corn bread or rice or if your crazy like me BOTH!!!!
