Bbq Brisket Sandwiches

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. 2. Mix salt, paprika, garlic powder, and mustard powder in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. 2. Liberally brush both sides of the brisket with the liquid smoke. Rub the dry spice mix into both sides of the brisket.
  4. 3. Place brisket in a roasting pan, and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. 4. Bake brisket for 3-1/2 hours.
  6. 5. Remove pan from oven. Carefully remove aluminum foil (watch out for steam!). Using two carving forks, pull (or "shred") the beef apart.
  7. 6. Pour whole bottle of KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce around the edge of the pan. To not waste any, put a little water in the bottle, swirl it, and add the last bit to the brisket.
  8. 7. Recover the brisket in aluminum foil, and refrigerate until ready to re-heat.
  9. 8. When ready to reheat, place in 325 degree oven until reheated, 20-30 minutes.
  10. 9. Serve warmed brisket on buns.
  11. 3.
