Let Us Bake
- 1/2 c. Genesis 18, verse 8, word 4
- 1 c. Isaiah 7, verse 15, word 3
- 2 Job 39, verse 14, word 4
- 2 c. 1 Samuel 28, verse 24, word 19
- 2 tsp. 1 Kings 10, verse 6, word 10 plus St. Matthew 21, verse 44, word 22 (this is 2 words)
- 1 tsp. Exodus 30, verse 23, word 17
- 1/4 tsp. St. Luke 14, verse 34, word 1
- 3/4 c. 2 Samuel, verse 1, word 4
- 1/2 c. Genesis 43, verse 11, word 4, chopped
- Judges 5, verse 24, word 12
- In a large bowl of electric mixer, soften and cream Genesis 18.
- Slowly beat in Isaiah 7.
- In small bowl, beat Job 39 well and add to the creamed mixture.
- Sift together the 1 Samuel 28, 1 Kings 19 and Matthew 21, Exodus 30 and Luke 14.
- Add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in 2 Samuel 16 and Genesis 43. Grease a 9-inch tube pan with Judges 5.
- Line with waxed paper; pour in batter.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Lower oven temperature to 325u0b0 and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer, until cake is golden brown and tests done.
- Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate.
- Remove waxed paper and cool completely.
- Yields about 10 servings.
