Grandma Maxine'S Sour Cream Raisin Pie

  1. Boil raisins in water 5 minutes.
  2. Add in egg yolks, mix well.
  3. Mix together sugar and sour cream. Add to raisin mixture.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to raisin mixture and simmer until thickened.
  5. Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
  6. Bake 350F until browned.
  7. Meringue:
  8. Beat eggs and sugar till stiff peaks form.
