Breakfast Chunkies

  1. Stir the flour, oatmeal, sesame seed, wheat germ, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl until blended.
  2. Add the peanuts, walnuts, raisins, dates and sunflower seeds; stir to coat.
  3. Beat the oil, maple syrup, egg and banana together.
  4. Fold into the dry ingredients until blended.
  5. Drop by rounded 1/4 cupfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  6. Bake until bottoms are golden, 15 to 18 minutes.
  7. Makes about 20 cookies.
