Noodles With Bolognaise Sauce
- One 4.7 oz. package Farmhouse(R) Herb & Butter Pasta
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup peeled carrot, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery stalk, finely chopped
- One 16 oz. can peeled whole tomatoes, drained & broken-up
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion, carrot, and celery until beef is no longer pink; drain-off fat.
- Add tomatoes, water, milk, wine, black pepper, red pepper flakes, noodles and contents of seasoning packet; bring just to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, if desired.
