Grandma Jeanne'S Banana Cake

  1. To make sour milk add 1 tbsp of vinegar to milk
  2. Mix shortening just enough to soften
  3. Sift in dry ingredients
  4. add 3/4 cup sour milk and beat at #2 speed for 2 minutes
  5. Add Eggs, vanilla and remainder of milk and beat 1 minute longer at #2 speed
  6. Add mashed banana and beat 1 minute more
  7. Bake in greased loaf pan 375 F for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
