Beef Stroganoff

  1. 1. Cut meat into bite-sized cubes. Brown in butter in large skillet or dutch oven. Reserving 1/3 C of broth, stir in remaining broth, catsup, Worsteshire, garlic and salt. Cover and simmer AT LEAST one hour.
  2. 2. Blend reserved broth and flour. Add onions to simmering mixture; let cook til onions are tender (uncovered), add mushrooms and cook 5 mins more. Add flour & broth mixture; bring to boil & boil one minute. Let excess liquid cook off; add sour cream and heat through.
