Oatmeal Cocoa Chippers

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine:
  3. - 1 1/2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
  4. - 1/2 Cup of Cocoa
  5. - 2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda
  6. - 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  7. In a large bowl, combine and beat until creamy:
  8. - 1 Cup of Butter
  9. - 1 Cup of Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  10. - 1/2 Cup of Granulated White Sugar
  11. - 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  12. In the large bowl, add eggs on at a time, beating well after each.
  13. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  14. Stir in:
  15. - 12 oz. of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  16. - 2 Cups of Dry Oatmeal
  17. - 1 Cup of Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  18. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  19. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes for chewy cookies, 12 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
  20. Let stand for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
