Crunchy Mexican Pizza
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 oz can diced green chiles
- 1/2 cup medium salsa
- 1/8 cup taco sauce
- Baked pizza crust
- 16 oz can refried beans
- 8 oz Mexican blend shredded cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Chopped tomatoes
- Tortilla chips broken into pieces
- 1.25 oz taco seasoning mix (see below)
- 16 oz sour cream (see below)
- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef. Stir in salsa, chiles & taco sauce & simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3. Lay pizza crust on baking sheet.
- 4. Spread beans over pizza crust. Spread seasoned ground beef over beans. Cover with cheese.
- 5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- 6. Remove from oven & top with lettuce, tomatoes & tortilla chip pieces.
- 7. Mix as much sour cream & taco seasoning mix as you think you will use. 16 oz is way too much! Top pizza with mixture.
