Easy Apple Galette

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. With cooking spray, coat baking sheet. In small cup, mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Unfold crust on prepared baking sheet; with fingers, press together any ripped seams or tears in dough.
  2. Brush crust with egg white. Sprinkle with 1 T sugar mixture. Starting 1 inch in from edge, arrange apple slices in circle, overalpping; with remaining slices, fill center, operlapping slices. Sprinkle evenly with 2 T sugar mixture; dot with butter. Fold edges of crust over apples. Brush crust with egg white; sprinkle crust evenly with remaining sugar mixture.
  3. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce to 375 F and bake 18-20 minutes longer, until crust is brown and apples are tender. Transfer to rack. Heat preserves in saucepan and brush over apples. Let cool and serve.
