Shepherd'S Pie Recipe
- 2 pound ground beef
- 2 package brown gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 8 servings mashed potatoes
- 1 bag 16 oz frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- Parsley Flakes , (optional)
- 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Add minced onion and garlic to ground beef and brown in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
- Crumble up 1 beef bouillon cube and spread over beef.
- 2. Mix Gravy Mix water, wine and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl. Pour over beef. Bring to boil. Add peas and carrots. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. Transfer meat mixture to 3 quart baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes.
- 3. Bake 30 minutes or until gravy bubbles and potatoes are slightly browned. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
