Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 cups + 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg + 1 yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 2 large baking sheets lined with parchment
- whisk flour,baking soda and salt (set aside)
- cream sugars and butter until light and fluffy
- add eggs one at a time
- add the vanilla
- mix in flour just until combined. Stir in nuts and chips. chill dough slightly then roll a teaspoon in the palm of your hand and split in half. Jam both halves together so that top of the cookie remains jagged.
