Ginger Garlic Bbq Country Style Pork Ribs
- 3-4 lbs.tountry Style Pork Ribs
- 2" lengthtinger root cubed
- 8 ttCloves garlic cut in 1/2
- 1 Large onion cut in 3/4"
- 1 cupttCubed tomatoes
- 4 cupstomato sauce
- 1/2 cuptrown sugar (not packed)
- 1 tsp.ttWorchestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp.tiquid Hickory Smoke
- 1/4 cuptoy sauce
- Salt & Pepper to taste.
- Cooking oil
- In a large stew pot on medium heat saute onions in cooking oil until transparent. Add ginger, garlic, cubed tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worchestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Stir until combined and let cook while preparing meat.
- In a large skillet sear pork ribs turning each to brown. Remove ribs to stew pot as they are browned. Cover and lower heat to simmer. Let simmer 1 1/2 hours. Serve.
- For an extra flavor boost add 1 cup pitted dark red cherries to the sauce before simmering pork ribs.
