Oatmeal Cookies With Pomegranate Infused Dried Cranberries
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 3 cups Oats (uncooked)
- 1 cup Ocean Spray(R) Pomegranate infused Craisins(R) or any substitute
- 1 cup walnuts
- Heat oven to 350u0b0F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
- Add combineed flour, baking sode, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, mix well.
- Add oats, walnuts, and Craisins, mix well.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until firm to the touch and light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
