Beef Stew Twists
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 lb. beef cubes
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. plain yogurt
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- 8 oz. pasta twists
- 2 Tbsp. softened butter
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Melt butter in Dutch oven.
- Add onion and saute until translucent.
- Add beef cubes and brown on all sides.
- Add salt, pepper, bay leaf, wine vinegar and beef broth. Cover tightly and bake 2 hours.
- Cook pasta following box directions.
- Remove pan from oven; remove bay leaf.
- Blend flour with softened butter.
- Stir into beef mixture.
- Simmer on stove 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
- Add yogurt and pasta; mix well and serve.
