Honey Nut Chicken
- 1 lb cooked chicken breast chopped into bite size pieces
- 2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 1 can bamboo shoots, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/2 lb pea pods, cut in half
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 3 Tbs. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 3 Tsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tsp. honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. grated ginger
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbs. canola oil
- Heat oil in the wok. Add the chopped garlic and ginger.
- Stir-fry the carrots and peapods for a few minutes.
- Add the bamboo shoots and stir.
- Add the peanuts and chicken. Stir.
- Mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Add to the stir-fry and mix together.
