Colombian Empanada Burgers
- 2 lbs ground beef (angus)
- 1 habebero seeded
- 1 tsp hot sauce of choice
- 2 T green onion minced
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup yellow venezolana flour (corn flour)
- Topping
- 1/2 chopped mango
- 1/2 chopped red pepper
- 1/2 chopped yellow pepper
- 3 sprigs chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 jalapenio half seeded minced
- mix and chill
- Mix together all burger ingredients and patty out desired burger size. Grill each side for 5-7 minutes depending on grill and then top with mango topping and serve on lettuce or in a bun. Enjoy with sour cream on the side.
