Dutch Apple Pie

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. peel and slice apples sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning
  3. mix brown sugar, 3/4 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of flour.
  4. pour dry mixture in with apples and mix thoroughly
  5. in the mean time, spread the beaten egg yolk around the bottom and edges of crust and bake for just 5 minutes to seal the crust
  6. pour apple mixture into the pie crust
  7. mix remaining ingredients with margarine until lumpy mixure, sprinkle over the apple pie until covered
  8. bake for 50 minutes + or - a few depending on oven
