Tapas
- 1)Shredded seafood sticks mixed with mayo and sliced black olives
- 2)Jamon serrano with cracked black pepper and olive oil
- 3)Spanish tortilla
- slices(potato and onion)
- 4)Cream cheese and smoked salmon with capers
- 6)Spanish red peppers stuffed with tuna and olives
- All ingredients are to be mixed and served on bread. Here is an alioli recipe as a garnish for all the above:
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 egg yolk and 1 whole egg
- generous pinch of salt
- 250-300ml olive oil
- Place the eggs, garlic and salt in a food processor and process them for a few seconds until well combined. Slowly pour in the olive oil with the motor running until the alioli has thickened to a mayonnaise consistency. Serve the alioli as soon as it is prepared.
- It is best to do by hand and VERY slowly but you risk cutting it and then it becomes ruined. it also makes your arm hurt..cheats way is best!
- Serve all on different platters and with side dishes of olives and alioli. For more people you can include rice salads, grilled prawns and patatas bravas for a really Spanish theme!
- Serve up with gazpacho soup to start and gallons of sangria on ice!
