Chicken In White Wine
- 500 gr/1 lb. chicken pieces (breasts, thighs or legs)
- 1 small onion shredded
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes (may use box or canned tomatoes)
- 4 garlic cloves pressed
- olive oil to cover bottom of the pan
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried chives
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
- Wash and cut chicken in small pieces.
- Put in a bowl and put 1/3 cup soy sauce, pressed garlic and pepper.
- Shred onion and put in pan with heated oil, on medium high. When onion change color put chicken and cook stirring until lightly brown. Add tomatoes, wine, parsley and chives. Turn heat down and let it cook for 15/20 minutes.
- Optional: add heavy cream.
