Satay Sauce
- 4 TSP CORN OIL
- 2 TSP SESAME OIL
- 1/4 CUP MINCED ONION
- 2 TBS. MINCED GARLIC
- 1 TSP. MINCED FRESH GINGER
- 1 TBS. RED WINE VINEGAR
- 1 TBS BROWN SUGAR
- 1/3 CUP OF PEANUT BUTTER
- 1/2 TSP GROUND CORIANDER
- 3 TBS. KETCHUP
- 3 TBS. SOY SAUCE
- 1 TBS. LIME JUICE 1/2 TSP. PEPPER
- DASH OF TOBASCO
- 1/3-1/2 CUP HOT WATER
- OPTIONAL 1/2 TSP OF TUMERIC FOR COLOR
- HEAT THE CORN OIL AND SESAME OIL IN A SMALL SAUCE PAN. aDD TEH ONION GINGER AND GARLIC AND SAUTE OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL SOFTENED. aDD THE VINEGER AND SUGER AND CONTINUE TO COOK UNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS UNTIL SMOOTH, OR COMBINE IN A FOOD PROCESSOR.
