Pork Loin With Sweet Potatoes In Crock Pot
- 1 - 3 to 4 pork loin roast
- 1/4 tsp 5 spice seasoning
- 2 med to large sweet potatoes (raw)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbs butter
- salt and pepper
- Pork rub seasoning
- Use dry Pork Rub seasoning that you've mixed in the 5 spice seasoning and rub all over the roast.
- Pare the sweet potatoes and cut in bite sized pieces.
- Place in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add brown sugar and butter.
- Place roast on top and salt and pepper all over.
- Do not add any water.
- Cook on low for approximately 7 to 7 1/2 hours until roast is fork tender.
- SPECIAL NOTES:
- Serve with a green vegetable or salad and dinner rolls.
- If pork doesn't seem quite done after 7 and 1/2 hours, turn cooker on high for about 30 min longer.
