Potato Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar; put in egg yolks, then mashed potatoes. Put spices, cocoa, and baking powder in flour.
  2. Put soda in buttermilk and alternate with dry ingredients.
  3. Add raisins and nuts.
  4. Fold in egg whites last.
  5. Grease and flour 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Cool.
  7. Frost with Caramel Frosting.
