Short-Cut Cabbage Rolls
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can drained sauerkraut
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- parsley flakes
- Spread cabbage in large casserole dish.
- Mix rice, pork sausage, seasonings and sauerkraut.
- Spread over cabbage.
- Mix tomato paste with water.
- Pour over mixture.
- Bake covered 1 1/2 hours at 300u0b0.
- Remove from oven.
- Spread sour cream on top. Spread raw biscuits and sprinkle with parsley.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes until brown at 400u0b0.
