Thai Beef With Basil And Chili

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan on high heat until it is just about to smoke.
  2. Add beef and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and chilies and stir fry briefly. Do not let burn.
  4. Add fish sauce, sugar, and soy sauce and stir fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add oyster sauce and water and cook for 30 sec
  6. Add peppers (and any other veggies) and 3/4 of basil leaves. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Dissolve cornstarch in water, add to wok to stir fry for 1 minute until sauce has thickened.
  8. Serve over steamed rice with remaining fresh basil on top.
  9. Enjoy!!
