Potato And Cabbage Casserole

  1. Boil potatoes until half soft.
  2. Peel skins and cut in 1/4 inch slices; set on side.
  3. Melt margarine in frying pan.
  4. Saute cabbage and onions until soft.
  5. Add sliced potatoes, mix well.
  6. Sprinkle with garlic to taste (a lot).
  7. Lay half of cabbage/potato mixture in big casserole dish.
  8. Sprinkle cup of cheese over mixture. Spread other half of cabbage/potato mixture on top of cheese.
  9. In small pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter, add 1/4 cup flour and mix until bubbles.
  10. Slowly add chicken broth, mixing well.
  11. When thick, pour over cabbage/potato mixture.
  12. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
