Baked Goat Cheese And Caramelized Onion Dip

  1. Place sliced onions in a heated saute pan with olive oil and saute until a deep golden brown color has been achieved.
  2. Add minced garlic and dry thyme and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste and place in either a cast iron skillet or a 1 qt dish and crumble goat cheese on top.
  4. NOTE: if adding crab or figs- fold into the goat cheese mixture before baking.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  6. Serve with baguettes and pears.
