Napa Cabbage Salad
- For Dressing:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup peanut oil
- For Salad Crunchies:
- 2 packages ramen noodles
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- For Salad:
- 2 heads napa cabbage
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced thinly
- Make Dressing:
- Boil 1 minute. Cool.
- Can be refrigerated.
- Bring to room temperature before use.
- Make Salad Crunchies:
- Brown almonds in peanut oil. Add garlic and sesame seeds and noodles.
- Sautee 1 minute.
- Can be stored in airtight container.
- Toss cabbage and scallions. Add crunchies, then dressing.
