Patton Salle
- 6 cups Flour
- 2 cups Crisco Butter
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tbl powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Annise seed
- 1 tablespoon Sesame
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 lbs Fig
- 1 tablespoon Yeast
- Mix Flour with Hot butter in a pie crust way.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and form a dough on the wet side.
- Leave for 1/2 and hour.
- Flatten on a flat surface and cut in a round shapes using a glass cup.
- Shape the Fig as sausages and fill in the dough and fold in to seal.
- Egg Wash, place on a cookiee sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 350.
- Note: if dates are hard, add some hot water and heat up.
- Patton salle is the same receipe but you will add 1/2 cup olive oil, an
- additional tea spoon salt, and cummin.
