Banana Bread Cobbler
- Banana Bread:
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk
- 1/2 cup melted butter (can substitute applesauce)
- 4 medium rip bananas, sliced
- Streusel Topping:
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup uncooked regular oats
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Banana Bread:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, and milk.
- Whisk in butter.
- Pour into a lightly greased 11x7 baking dish.
- Top with banana slices.
- Streusel Topping:
- Stir together sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly, using fork.
- Stir in oats and pecans.
- Sprinkle over banana bread.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
