Wanda Beans
- 1 can (16 oz) Pork & Beans
- 1 can (15 oz) butterbeans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef, browned with onion - do not drain
- 1 tsp prepared yellow mustard
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- I have added the following:
- 1/2 tsp-1 Tbs chipotle powder
- 1 Tbs Liquid Smoke
- Mix all together, bake at 350u0b0 F for 45 Minutes.
- I have used turkey bacon, dried in the microwave and crumbled or cut into 1/2" pieces. The last two times I made this recipe without bacon, substituted sweet Italian antelope sausage for the hamburger, and added 1 Tbs chipotle powder.
