Soul Warming White Chili

  1. Coursely chop the onion and galic cloves. Saute in an eight quart heavy pan with about one and a half tablespoons olive oil. Saute until golden brown. Add ground turkey to the onions & lightly brown. While browning the meat, add 1/2 teaspon cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, & salt & pepper to taste. Add broth & remaining ingredients. Add remaining spices. Cook covered for approx. 1 1/2 hours on a low simmer.
  2. ** For soupier texture add one cup water to the ingredients. Also for a spicey chili add 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper.
  3. Optional:
  4. Break tortilla chips into soup & add grated cheddar cheese.
