Brussels With Bacon And Apple Cider

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat and add bacon. Cook until brown and crisp.
  2. Leave 1 Tbsp of bacon fat and add butter to skillet and melt.
  3. Add sprouts and cook about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in shallots and cook 3 minutes. Add cider, honey, salt and pepper. Gently mix and bring to boil.
  5. Reduce and simmer. Cook until the sprouts are tender and the liquid has ALMOST evaporated ... about 7 minutes.
  6. If sprouts need more cooking then add more cider.
  7. Toss with bacon and serve.
