Stuffed Patty Pan Sqash

  1. Peel squash and cut width-wise to create 2 large bowls. Scoop out seeds if needed. Put in covered dish with 1/2 cup water in microwave and steam until soft Lay on large greased baking sheet, cut side up. Saute meats, when almost done, add vegetables and stir until soft. Add cracker crumbs and spices, stir, and cook until soft. Fill squash bowls with filling, top with a little shredded cheddar, and bake at 350 degrees until thoroughly warmed and cheese is melted.
