Beef-N-Biscuit Casserole

  1. Brown ground beef and
  2. onion in large frying pan; drain excess grease.
  3. Add
  4. tomato
  5. sauce,
  6. pepper
  7. and
  8. garlic salt. Simmer while preparing
  9. biscuits.teparate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits.
  10. Pull each biscuit apart to make 2 layers.
  11. Press biscuit layers over
  12. entire
  13. bottom
  14. and
  15. sides
  16. of
  17. ungreased 9-inch square baking
  18. pan
  19. or
  20. 2-quart casserole.
  21. Combine 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese (reserve
  22. the rest for topping), sour cream and egg; mix well.
  23. Remove
  24. meat mixture from heat and stir in cheese mixture.
  25. Spoon over dough.
  26. Arrange remaining biscuit layers over
  27. top
  28. pinching
  29. sidestogether.
  30. Sprinkle
  31. with remaining Cheddar
  32. cheese.
  33. Bake
  34. at 375u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
