Irish Soda Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
  2. 1.tix first five ingredients in a large bowl
  3. 2.ttir in raisins and caraway seeds
  4. 3.tdd Buttermilk using wooden spoon - Dough will be sticky
  5. 4.tlour hands and rolling surface, knead dough ten times
  6. 5.tut small piece to form stem
  7. 6.tivide dough in three and form balls
  8. 7.trease Cookie Sheet
  9. 8.tn Cookie Sheet, Shape into Shamrock and place stem at top
  10. 9.trush top with beaten egg
  11. 10.take for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Note: recipe can be cut in half for smaller loaf.
