Grilled Figs With Blue Cheese & Rosemary Honey

  1. Brush olive oil and slices of bread, salt and pepper.
  2. Grill bread slices for about 3 minutes.
  3. Smear the toast with the gorgonzola, and arrange on a platter.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat honey with rosemary over low heat, allow to simmer approx 15 minutes. Remove rosemary sprigs and discard. Allow honey to cool to room temp. It will need to be reheated slightly to serve.
  5. Slice the tops off the fits, and oil lightly. Season. Grill figs over medium heat until lightly browned. Place on bread slices and drizzle with warmed honey
