- 1 15 OZ CAN HUNTS SAUCE
- 1 15 OZ CAN CHICKEN BROTH
- 1 SM ONION, CHOP HALF LEAVE HALF WHOLE(THAT'S HOW MY MOTHER DOES IT)
- 1 RIB CELERY W/LEAVES, CHOPPED
- 2 CLOVES GARLIC, SMASHED
- 1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL
- 14/ STICK PEPPERONI SLICED (OPTIONAL)
- SALT, PEPPER, AND RED PEPPER FLAKES TO TASTE
- GRATED CHEESE
- COOK PASTA
- I USE DITATLINI OR SMALL SHELLS
- HEAT OLIVE OIL IN MEDIUM SAUCE PAN, SAUTE ONION, GARLIC, AND CELERY WITH SALT, PEPPER, AND RED FLAKES 5 MINUTES. ADD PEPPERONI AND SAUTE 2 MIN. ADD HUNTS SAUCE AND BRING TO BOIL. ADD CHICKEN BROTH AND BEANS SIMMER 1/2 TO 1HR.
- LADDLE IN BOWL WITH PASTA TOP WITH GRATED CHEESE AND SPINKLE WITH RED PEPPER FLAKES. SERVE WITH CRUSTY ITALIAN BREAD
