Yellow Cake With Chocolate Butter Frosting

  1. Cake
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Grease and flour pan,
  4. In large mixer bowl, mix butter sugar eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Beat 5 minutes on hig speed, scraping bowl occasionally. On low speed mix flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk. Pour into pans.
  5. Bake oblong 45 to 50 minutes, layers 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, Cool
  6. Chocolate butter frosting
  7. Mix thoroughly butter and cooled chocolate. Blend in sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk; beat until frosting is smooth and of speading consistency.
  8. Fills and frost two 8- or 9 inch layers
