Sam'S Sour Rye Bread

  1. Sour
  2. Mix together and keep in a warm place covered overnight.
  3. Dough
  4. Mix the sour w/3/4C warm water add salt and oil.Mix the yeast in 1 C water and add to sour mix. Add the flour and mix. Let it rise !1hour until double.
  5. Cut into 2x1-1/2 lb pieces,shape and let it rise again until it doubles.Wash the loaves with cornstarch dissolved in boiling water and bake for about 45 minutes in preheated oven
