Spanish Cheese Limas

  1. Cook beans in boiling water in saucepan until tender; drain. Saute celery and onions in oil in large skillet.
  2. Add tomatoes; reduce heat.
  3. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in beans, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and red pepper.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Layer 1/2 the bean mixture, half the cheese and remaining bean mixture in lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0
  8. for 20 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  10. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
