Oriental Turkey Stir-Fry(Great For Leftover Thanksgiving)
- 1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked turkey
- any leftover cooked vegetables such as: broccoli, peas, corn, cauliflower or green beans
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 raw carrot, sliced thin
- sesame oil
- 1/8 c. soy sauce
- cornstarch
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 celery stalk, sliced
- 3/4 c. turkey gravy
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- Saute onion and garlic until clear.
- Add carrot, celery and turkey; saute a few more minutes, stirring often, until turkey is browned.
- Add gravy, soy sauce and ginger.
- Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch into 1/2 cup or more of cold water.
- Stir very well. Gradually add this to the turkey mixture, stirring over medium heat until bubbly and thickened.
- If too thick, add water until gravy is right.
- Add remaining vegetables and serve over rice or noodles.
