Black Bean And Garlic Ribs
- Marinade
- 1.5 lbs Spare Ribs, cut into pieces
- 3/4 cup Oyster Sauce
- 1/2 cup Sherry
- 1 tsp Hot Sauce
- 2 tsp white sugar
- Dash white pepper
- Dash Fresh ground black pepper
- Other Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves finely chopped fresh garlic
- 11/2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce (available in most grocery stores under Chinese Food)
- 1 cup water
- 1. Combine ingredients for Marinade, before marinating ribs overnight in an airtight container, in the refrigerator
- 2. Using a deep wok or sauce pan with a cover, Brown garlic in Olive oil at medium heat.
- 3. Add Black Bean Garlic sauce and fry for half a minute
- 4. Add ribs to the pan; toss to make sure everything is coated in the black bean sauce and olive oil
- 5. Add water
- 6. Cover and let the mixture braise for forty minutes before serving, stirring every once in a while.
