Black Pepper Beef
- 2lb of beef (sirloin steak about 1 in. thick) cut into thin strips
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 large onoin thinly sliced
- 1 green pepper thinly sliced
- 2 stalks of celery thinly sliced
- 1 lg corrot thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups of rice cook as package directs
- 2tbls spoons of black pepper
- 2tbls spoons of soya sauce
- 1tbl of worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup and 2 tbl spoon of water
- 2tbls cornstarch
- 2tbls oil (peanut works best)
- put beef, worcestershire. 1/2 pepper,1/2 soya suace and 1/4 cup water into a shallow dish and set in fridge for two hours
- in a large skillet add oil onion, garlic, carrot, black pepper. cook until onions are clear then add beef and other ingredients and cover for about 15 mins. until beef is tender (don't over cook beef)
- blend cornstarch and water and add to beef.
- serve rice on plate and top with beef
