Brownies
- Brownies:
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Frosting:
- 8 Tbsp. powdered unsweetened chocolate
- 4 Tbsp. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- Melt the chocolate squares in vegetable oil. Mix granulated sugar and 4 eggs and add to oil and melted chocolate mixture-beat well. Stir in flour and baking powder and mix well. Put batter in greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-20 minutes.
- Mix together frosting ingredients and spread on cooled brownies.
- Serves 12 and great with a dollop of Dreyer's vanilla ice cream.
